Alexander P BROWN was one of the earliest settlers of Miami County, Kansas, having settled in Osage TWP in 1857. Alexander was a farmer. He came from Eugene TWP, Vermillion Co. IN and brought his wife Sarah F (BRUNER) and their 2 daughters, Malissa and Elizabeth. 3 more children were born in Osage TWP, Miami Co. KS. Mary, George L and Jessie L.
