BROWNING, ERNEST "ERNIE," 80, of Louisville, passed away peacefully at Jewish Hospital on Thursday, July 17, 2008. He was an Army veteran, a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and a retired vice president of service for the Brandeis Machine Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Wayne and Dena Fox Browning; sisters, Myrtle Tinnell and Della Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Louise; children, Donna Spicer (Billy), Sandy Boston, Steve Browning (Debbie); his sister, Mae Williams; grandchildren, Erin and Sydney Spicer, Sean and Nick Boston, Steven W. Browning, Jason Carden; great-grandchildren Baylie, Mariah and Chelsey. Funeral services for Mr. Browning will be on Monday, July 21, 2008 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, 11a.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Maraman Billings Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. on Monday at his church.
