Ralph E. Antill, 83, of Wind Ridge RD 1, died at 2:30 AM Wednesday, May 16, 2001, in the home of his daughter, Shirley Dvorcek, in Wheeling, West Va. He had been a patient with Valley Hospice Care of Wheeling, W. Va., since Feb. 1,
2001.
He was born Feb. 17, 1918, in Cameron, W. Va., a son of James Lindsay and Mary Ellen Tedrow Antill.
Mr. Antill was a resident of Aleppo Township most of his life. He was a member and former deacon, elder and trustee at First Christian Church in Cameron. Mr. Antill was a member of Masonic Lodge 17, F&AM in Cameron. He owned Antill Construction Co. For 45 years prior to his retirement in 1983.
On Nov. 15, 1941, he married Jean Kathleen Bissett, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and daughter Shirley, are two sons, Allen L. Antill of Waynesburg and Victor R. Antill of Aleppo; a daughter, and Betty Forman of Waynesburg; a brother, Lloyd H. Antill of Burnsville, N. C.; six grandchildren, Kristin, Jqason, Tina, and Todd Antill and Amy and Jeremy Dvorcek; two step-grandsons, Tony and Jamie Forman; and five step-great-grandsons. A sister died in infancy.
