Obituary: In Memory
This little fragile flower, Eugenia Lyon, came to earth for only a brief mission, and at 3 months of age the Master came into the garden to gather the choicest buds for the garden above and the soul of little Eugenia was wafted thither. The fond young parents realize they now have a stronger tie binding them and beckoning them to the home above. Services were conducted Saturday afternoon by Rev. R. H. Hudgen, assisted by Rev. W. B. Taylor. Mrs. Thompson Brown sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," and the little casket was lowered into the earth. "Safe in the arms of Jesus. Safe from unending care. Free from the world's temptations. Sin cannot harm her there."
She was the great-grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Dickenson of Gallatin.
