She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Irene Harville Hale; husband, Troy Barker in 1989; and one brother, Paul Hale. She is survived by her son, Ronald Barker, wife Tracy of Hamilton; two daughters, Deana Patterson, husband James of Middletown, and Jody Barker of Middletown; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; two sisters, June Swartz of London, Kentucky and JoAnn Baker, husband Noah of London, Kentucky; one brother, Dean Hale, wife Mildred of London, Kentucky; and several special nieces and nephews. Visitation and services will be private at the convenience of the family at Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, with Reverend Charles Denny officiating.
