Jennie Faye Aldridge, age 88, of Kennedy, Ala., went to her heavenly home February 9, 2014. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tommy Hughes, Bro. James Howard and Bro. Gene Nabors officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Dowdle Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nathan; several brothers and sisters; son, Bobby; and infant granddaughter, Lori Jane.
Survivors include daughter Angie Hughes (Tommy); daughter–in-law, Linda Sue Aldridge, three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
"NANNIE" will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Don Bond, Tyrone Steger, Jerome Aldridge, Trey Aldridge, Alan Aldridge, Chester Aldridge and Doug Walters.
Honorary Pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama, Dr. Julia Boothe and special thanks to Lisa Camp, Nancy Jemison, Allison Brewer, Julie Aldridge, Ron Wilson, Betty Ann Jones and Barbara Miller.
