Edward or Ned as he liked to be called, was the youngest son of Michael Quinn and Bridget Bracken. Ned grew up in Wilmington with six brothers and sisters.
Ned started out working for the city parks according to the 1900 and 1910 census. Ned grew up to be an oiler for machinery and in 1920 was the oiler for the water department in the city of Wilmington.
Ned never married and spent most of his life, living with his brother, James and his family at 904 West 4th Street in Wilmington, Delaware.
He died at 3am of an aneurism of the aorta when he was only 56 years old. He is buried in the Roman Catholic Cathedral Cemetery with his parents and his siblings. There is no marker on his grave according to a photographer who tried to photograph it in July of 2014.
