Rachel Slaughter Haney, Age 73, a resident of rural Charleston, died at 6:05 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Charleston Manor.
She was born November 19, 1935 in Fulton Co. KY to the late John D. and Grace Hodges Slaughter.
On September 11, 1954 she married Dan Haney who survives of the home.
Also surviving are one son, John Randall Haney of New Madrid, one brother, John M. Slaughter of Charleston; three sisters, Delores Wallace and Loretta A. Rudden both of St. Louis and Debbie Howard of Murray, KY
She was preceded by one son, Michael Alexander Haney, and one brother, Richard P. "Ricky" Slaughter
