Kenneth L. Emmons 74, a lifetime resident of Springfield, Ohio passed away at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 1995 in Mercy Medical Center.
He was born in Springfield on February 26, 1920, the son of Wiliam E. and Lora T. (Scott) Emmons.
Mr. Emmons served in the United States Air Force during World War 11 and retired from Conrail with 42 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Number 397 and Kissell Lodge Number 674 Free and Accepted Masons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Raymond and Carl Emmons.
Friends were able to call in the RICHARDS, RAFF AND DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME on Thursday where Masonic Lodge Services were held. Funeral services were held in the Memorial Home on Friday with the Rev. Franklin Sparks and Father Thomas Kreidler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to be made to Catholic Central High School, Northminster Presbyterian Church, or to the donor's favorite charity.
