Mount Union, September 30- Mary Alice Ingram, Wife of James Ingram, of West Milford Street, passed away in J. C. Blair Hospital at Huntingdon Sunday night, september 27, 1936, following s very serious surgical operation. Mrs Ingram has been in failing health for some months, but her condition became serious weeks before her operation. She suffered from a very serious gall bladder condition and other complications.
Mary Alice was the daughter of Van and Ellen Brodbeck, of Three Springs. She wa born march 21, 1888 at Three Springs. She was reared in a farm home and was later united in marriage to James Ingram of Mount union. Two sons Van H. Ingram of Mount Union and James E. Ingram at home survive with with the invalid father and husband. There are two grandchildren. Darlene and Mary Helen,daughters of Van H. Ingram.
Mrs Ingram was a beautiful Christian character. Her life was one of loving service and sacrifice for her family. Her husband has been an invalid for a number of years. her love was her husband, for her children, and grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Union.
Surviving besides her husband, two children and grandchildren are the parents, Mr and Mrs Van Brodbeck, Three springs and the following brothers and sisters: George Brodbeck, Elden Brodbeck and Harvey Brodbeck, all of Pitcaira; Mrs Bertha heck, Wilksinburg; Mrs Cleo Baker, Robertsdale, Mr Alton Brodbeck band Walter Brodbeck, of Three Springs and Mrs Martha Brown, Saltillo.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home, West Milford Street, at 2 o'clock. The Rev. James Taylor of the First Baptist Church officiated and interment in the Saltillo Cemetery. R. L Green Funeral services.
