Lydia came from Fordyce Corners in Quebec. She and Peter spent the best part of their lives on their farm at East Farnham, Quebec. Advancing years compelled them to retire from the farm and move to Lowell, Mass. Later they moved to Atkinson, NH to live with Ethel and William Reynolds and they both passed away there. Her father was Minor Fordyce, born in 1801, and her mother's maiden name was Almira Wood
