Born in Norway and immigrated to the USA on May 7, 1912 shortly after the titanic sank. They moved to the Apple River area where her parent Leontina & John Gustavsen began farming. She later met Carl Hajlmer Nasland, and had 4 children Glen, Gordon, Evelyn, and John. Somewhere along the line they changed there name to Neslund. After the death of Hajlmer she moved to Minnesota and worked as a cook at Golden Age Nursing home. She passed away at the age of 105.
