Glenda was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She worked many years as a secretary for the hosiery mill in Lenoir City and later for Green Thumb. Glenda was a very talented musician and cake decorator.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Lee Ann Stamey; her parents, sister, Alma Graves Lee and a niece, Sheila Chapman. She survived by her husband of 58 years, Hollis Stamey; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Julie Stamey; grandchildren: Emilee Ann Davis (Kenny), Jonathan Stamey (Jessica), and Jacob Stamey; great grandchildren: Jennifer and Scarlet Stamey, and Korbyn Davis; sister, Bobbie Sue Stafford; special niece, Janna Wyatt along with numerous other nieces , nephews, step-children and extended family members.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the Hawkins Chapel at 102 B Street in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Mr. Bill Lee officiating. Entombment will be in the Lakeview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Loudon County. Hawkins Chapel in Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
