Margaret was born November 17, 1947 in College Point, New York and retired from Abbott Labs after 28 years of employment in 2011. She was a member of Living Faith Methodist Church in Waukegan and volunteered for PADS and started the soup kitchen at Living Faith Methodist Church. She also volunteered at the Waukegan Library, mentored at "Waukegan to College" to assist children to get into college, and was an anonymous donor to send many children to summer camps.
Survivors include two sons; Jeoffrey Foote of Gurnee and Tim Foote of Orlando, Florida, two brothers Peter (Joan) Beck of Long Island, New York and George (Marcia) Beck.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Interment in Millburn Cemetery.
