Children: Kathryn, Evelyn, Michael
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held the office of High Priest at the tiime of his death. He had willingly served in many church positions and had been the caretaker of Mutual Dell.
He was employed at Geneva Steel for over 30 years and worked as a farmer. He loved baseball and was known for his gardening abilities and was willing to share the fruits of his labor with many friends and neighbors.
He is survived by his wife, American Fork; four sons and four daughters, Elroy Harris, Jr., Norman Harris both of Richfield; Robert Harris, Salt Lake City; Michael Harris, American Fork; Mrs. Pete (Verna Beth) Pessetto, Layton, Mrs. Phillip (Cleo) Bullen, West Boro, Mass.; Mrs. Justin (Kathryn) Bingham, Chandler, Ariz.; Mrs. Alan (Evelyn) Miner, Loveland, Colo. He was also the proud grandfather of 33 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Eileen Welsh, brothers George and Seldon and a grandson, Mark Harris.
Dad, you will be missed in this life but your influence will be felt forever. We know that you are going to preparae the way for us just as you did in this life.

Funeral will be Saturday 2 p.m. in the American Fork 7th Ward LDS Chapel, 165 N. 350 W., American Fork. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N., American Fork, Friday 7-9 and Saturday, one hour prior to services at the church.
