ROCCO YAUILLA - NEW LONDON
Rocco Yauilla, 61, husband of Alice Powers Yauilla of Long Boat Key Fla., and a native and former resident of this city, died Wednesday at his home. Mr. Yauilla was born February 22, 1906 in New London and was employed at various times at General Dynamics - Electric Boat Div., the Modern Electric Co. and last at Robertson Paper Mill, Montville before moving to Florida 12 years ago. In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons, Charles and Paul Yauilla, both of Florida; five sisters, Mrs. Camilla Sarayusa, Mrs. Virginia Lenci, Mrs. Angelina Salegna, Mrs. Marian Peterson, all of New London, and Mrs. June Luzzietti, Waterford; two brothers, Charles Yauilla and Robert Sylvia, both of New London; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at Toale Brother's Funeral Home in Bradenton Fla. Published in The Day, Thursday, January 4, 1968 page 2.

Survived by his wife, Alice; two sons, Charles Albert, Sarasota and Paul Francis, Largo; two brothers, Charles and Robert, both of New London; five sisters, Mrs. Marion Sarayusa, Mrs. John Lenci, Mrs. Peter Salengna, Mrs. Harold Peterson and Mrs. Elfio Luzietti, all of New London, and six grandchildren.
