Harold L. Carland 71, died Friday, November 21, 2014 at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville. He was born on August 15, 1943 to the late Buster and Wilma Collins Carland. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Gail McMurray Carland.
Harold was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County. He was a dedicated employee of Biltmore Dairy Farms for over 30 years. He also owned and operated 4-Seasons Well and Pump since 1985. Harold enjoyed life. He was a simple man, who loved his family and was well liked in the community.
He is survived by his two sons: Mark Carland, Greg Carland and wife Michelle, his brother and best friend, Dale Carland, all of Hendersonville, one sister, Phyllis Morris of Alabama, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many extended family members, who loved him dearly.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, November 25th at Shepherd Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
