John Earl Bell, 91, of Bremen, entered eternal Life with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, at Heartland-Fairfield Nursing Center in Pleasantville.
John was the owner and operator of Star Mining Coal Co. and was a member of Bremen Holiness Church.
John is survived by three sons, [...]; one daughter, [...]; two brothers, [...]; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Leona Householder Bell, in 1986; infant son, Floyd M.; brothers, Robert and Herbert Bell; and sister, Ruby Stiles.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at Snyder-Sheridan Funeral Home, 124 Fort St., Bremen.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at Bremen Holiness Church, 1300 Zwingli Road, Bremen, with Pastor Roger Harfield and Pastor Randy Neville officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Bremen.
