Sunbury-June M. Bucher, 70, of 322 Pennsylvania Ave. died at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 27,1999,at Manor Care Nursing Home, Sunbury.
She was born June 1, 1928, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Harvey and Sadie (Carl) Osman. She was married June 1, 1946 to Chester J. Bucher, who died in 1979.
She attended Sunbury schools.
She was a mother, wife and homemaker who devoted her time and life to her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Bucher was a member of the Jehovah Witness Hall of Northumberland.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Robert Long of Paxinos, Carla and Ronald Wagner of Sunbury and Nancy and Donald Brosius of Sunbury; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Osman of Northumberland and Edward Osman of Sunbury; and two sisters, Alma Shultz of Lewisburg and Pearl Renn of Milton.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Lawrence, Harvey, Mose, Darvin and Lloyde; two sisters Elva Boyer and Cora Osheskie.
Visitors may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St.,Sunbury.
The funeral will be conducted at 11a.m. Friday at the funeral home by the speaker of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
