She could play many instruments but piano and organ were her instruments of choice, both of which she mastered.
She married her husband, Fred Claggett in 1950. They had two daughters. She worked at Lisle Funeral Home for over 30 years, taught school in Raisin City for 10 years and was owner of the Electrology Salon in Fresno,CA. She was the organist at Westminster Presbyterian Church and played for many weddings and funerals. She was also employed by the Positive Living Center as an accompanist and taught piano lessons.
She is survived by her husband, daughters, 1 grandchild, a brother John Yakligian of Madera, cousins Dave and Phil Sweet and Midge Barrett, many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services were held on December 14,1994 at the Lisle Funeral Home.
