Ralph E. ARNSBERGER, 95, of Mentone, died at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday at Prairie View Nursing Home, Warsaw. He had been in failing health for several months.
Born Feb. 12, 1888, in Kosciusko County to George and Sarah BECHTELHEIMER ARNSBERGER, he lived most of his life around Mentone. He married Ethel B. COOKERLY on May 23, 1938, in Hammond. She died in 1966. Arnsberger served in the U.S. Army during World War I. He was a farmer, restauranteur and a member of the Mentone American Legion and Warsaw Elks. He is survived by seven nieces and two nephews. Two sisters and three brothers preceded im in death.
Services are set for 1 p.m. Friday at the King Memorial Home in Mentone with Rev. Ken MARKEN of the First Baptist Church, Mentone, officiating. Burial will be in the Mentone Cemetry. Visiting hours begin at 2 p.m. today and will continue until the time of services Friday.
