She was born in Passaic, New Jersey on June 7, 1936 to the late James and Helen Bierne Gilchrist.
Nancy was an elementary school teacher for the Passaic County Public Schools, being a graduate of Caldwell College, a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, an avid bridge player, a religious teacher and Eucharistic minister. She was an ardent reader her entire life.
Her husband, Jules Paul Augsdorfer and son, James J. Augsdorfer preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Michael (Barbara) Augsdorfer of Chandler, Arizona, daughters, Kathleen (Rick) Canavan of Loveland, Ohio, Mary Beth (David) Clements of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and grandchildren, Megan, Mark, Kelly, Kevin and Robert.
