Tom was raised in the Los Angeles area going to school in Beverly Hills where he graduated from Beverly Hill HS class of 1946. He then went to University of Arizona, Flagstaff Az then going on to work in his fathers newspaper business (WJ McGiffin Newspapers with nine community newspapers in So Cal and the Evening Democrat Ft Madison Iowa). In the 1970's he worked as Account Executive in Advertising with the Los Angeles Herald Examiner and we president of Paragon Productions. Tom was working with his sister's and brother-in-law's family owned business Brehm Comunications in Palm Desert when he passed away from a heart attack. At the time of this writting (11-01-12) He is survived by his sister Mona McGiffin Brehm and three children, Douglas Michael, Thomas Charles and Maureen Louise.
