Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center St., Clinton. J. Kent Hickerson will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton.
Mrs. Armstrong was born Dec. 20, 1913, in Maroa, a daughter of Harry A. and Myrtle Adcock Thomas. She married George E. Armstrong in 1932 in Monticello. He died Feb. 1, 1980.
Survivors include three sons, W. Arthur Armstrong of Bloomington, George R. Armstrong of Clinton and David C. Armstrong of Mansfield; four daughters, Joyce Zeiters of Bloomington, Janice Laramee of Clinton, Marilyn Bourn of Lisle and Carol Hutchcraft of Gibson City; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, V. Lee Thomas of Bloomington; and a sister, Miki Kavanaugh of Avon Park, Fla.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
