Mr. Floyd Anderson, 77, beloved husband of Mrs. Brenda Anderson, died October 23, 2011 at his residence in Dearing, Ga.

Funeral services will be in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel and burial will be in the Adams Chapel Cemetery with Military Honors.

Mr. Anderson was a native of Suwanee Tn., but had lived in Dearing for many years. He was a Farmer and a retired Inspector for the Hightower Consulting Engineers.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and German Occupancy and a member of the V.F. W. and the American Legion. He was a Baptist by Faith. He was an Avid Gardner.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Faith Anderson Fain and two brothers, Edward K. Anderson and Parker Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Anderson, Dearing; his three daughters, Mrs. Hope (Justin) Folk, Six Mile Run, Pa., Sherri Jo Scott, Tullahoma, Tn., and Mitzy Rae (Dusty) Hartman, Estell Springs, Tn.; his two sons, Floyd R. (Terry) Anderson II, Belvedere, Tn. and Randy (Rita) Anderson, Harlem, Ga.; his grandson, Devan Fain Anderson, Dearing; three sisters, Doris Bennett, Atlanta, Nancy (David) Braski, Oak Ridge Tn., and Kathryn Holley, Belvedere Tn; two brothers, Charles (Carolyn) Anderson, Owensboro, Ky. and John D. (Judy) Anderson, Selma Al.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
