Herbert Leon Lehrbach, 65, died January 30, in Santa Clara County.
Lehrbach spent his early years in Fowler. He attended grade school in Fowler from 1908 to 1917. After one year in high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served two years.
The remainder of his life was spent in San Francisco and San Jose where he was engaged in the automobile business and operation of an oil company. He was conducting operations with the company in San Jose at the time of his death.
He is survived by his widow, Mary R. Lehrbach, of Santa Clara, two daughters, Mrs. Harry P. (Ruth) Winslow of Los Gatos and Mrs. Dick (Carolyn) Lafferty, of San Jose; a brother Herman J. Lehrbach of San Francisco, and seven grandchildren.
He was past Master and member of the Burlingame Lodge No. 400, F & A M, Scottish Rite Bodies and the San Jose Body of Sciots.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 3, at Darling-Fischer Gardens in San Jose under the auspices of Burlingame Lodge No. 400, F & A M.
