Marilyn Anderson Will Be Missed
FRUIT HEIGHTS - Marilyn Anderson peacefully passed away at her home February 21, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer. Marilyn was born November 11, 1944 in Nampa, Idaho to Lee and Virginia Johnson. Marilyn married Gary Anderson in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death in 1998. Marilyn was a dedicated piano teacher for more than 40 years. Her love of music has influenced hundreds of students. Marilyn was an active member of the LDS church and faithfully served in many capacities including the stake Primary presidency, Gospel Essentials teacher, Ogden Temple organist, and part-time missionary at the Conference Center. Marilyn had a great love for life and many friends. She enjoyed golfing, running, and traveling. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents, Lee and Virginia Johnson, Boise, ID; her sister, Kay (Blaine) Cherry, Caldwell, ID; brother, Ray (Betsy) Johnson, Boise, ID; sons, Michael Anderson, Fruit Heights, Steven (Kristin) Anderson, Salt Lake City, UT, David (Gabriela) Anderson, Newnan, GA, Mark (Aman-da) Anderson, Fruit Heights, UT, and one granddaughter, Zoe.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
