KAYSVILLE – Chad Ashby , 26, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 of injuries sustained after a severe fall while hiking in Farmington Canyon, Utah. He was born April 18, 1980 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Suzanne and David Argyle and Scott Ashby.
Chad was raised and lived in Kaysville, Utah. He graduated from Davis High School in 1998 and completed two years of schooling at the Davis Applied Technology College. Chad was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, boating, watching NASCAR races and playing video games with his younger brother Jacob. Chad loved being outdoors and working with his hands. He had a knack for fixing and tinkering with things. Chad is remembered as one who loved to tease and tell a good joke. He was always willing to help others out.
The family of Chad Ashby would like to give a special thanks to Craig, Joe, Drew, Chris and Matt at Randal Plumbing for all of their help, love, and support to Chad while he was alove and after his tragic death. He loved working as a plumber and will be missed dearly by his friends and co-workers.
He is survived by his parents, Suzanne and David Argyle and Scott Ashby, a brother, Jacob Argyle, sisters, Karen (Morgan) Young, Tricia (Alan) Faerber, nephew, Samuel Faerber, grand parents, Frances French, Clifford Argyle, Lois Ashby, and very supportive aunts, uncles and cousins.
