Boyd-Winfred C., 64, 2701 Maple St., Longview, died Aug. 20, 1972 in a local hospital. Born Sept. 19, 1907 in Ash Grove, Mo., he had resided here since 1935 and was a machine operator in the Pres-to-Log plant at the Weyerhaeuser Co. Survivors include the widow, Hazel at home, and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Miller of Ashburn, Mo. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Steele Chapel with the Rev. Ted Cotton officiating, Concluding services and interment will follow in the Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens. The Steele Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
