The following are thoughts and memories of her Sister Tara Moorman.
[Peggy loved life and had many friends. She loved to travel, photography, hot air ballooning, animals, especially her cat Aspen, music and ice cream. Peg would want to be remembered as the beautiful love and light that she was. She would urge us to follow our dreams, to live fully in the present moment and to heal all grief and regret].
Peggy is survived by her parents Patty [Nation] Fisher and Richard Fisher, her brother Kenneth of Sedgwick, Kansas, her sister Tara Moorman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and her Grandmother Elsie Fisher. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Anna Nation and grandfather, Kenneth Fisher.
One of Peggy's favorite poems.
Slicing through the waters
as the shifting winds befriend us,
we sail our craft
with pure exhilaration…
Relishing the feeling
of such free and fluid swiftness,
as our only destination.
Exploring new dominions
of experience and wonder,
we find there's more to life
than meets the eye…
New joys not yet imagined
are the treasures we discover~
the more we seek,
the more we dare to try.
