Junior was the son of Virgil and Mary Jane(Major) Etchison. On Jan. 20, 1952, he married Carolyn Jaquier. He served in the U.S.Army in both World War II and Korean Conflict. Surviving with his wife are three daughters and one son; a sister, a brother, four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren. Two brothers, Elbert and Ralph, are deceased. He was a Firestone tire salesman and worked in Danville, Ill. He was also co-owner of House of Flowers in Tipton, IN. He was a former district commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America and a life member of the Order of the Arrow. He was a member of Omega Christian Church.
