Mrs. Alderson was the daughter of Maude (Ramsyer) and Ozy "Oat" Quakenbush. She graduated from Prairie Twp. HS in 1948 and attended Purdue U. and Indiana Business College. She married E.F.Alderson on April 17, 1949. They had two children, Janelle and Randy, and ran a successful farm and Quarter Horse breeding operation for over 50 years. She was very active in her community and her church.She supported 4-H, Indiana State Fair, Eastern Star, and worked at Adler's Seed Co. of Sharpsville for 25 years.
