She was the daughter of the late William and Louisa (Allen) Taylor, born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the former Laura Jane Taylor.
Laura was a past Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lodge.
Her husband Arthur Cosman, of the home, servives her;, as well as one daughter Etta; Six sons, Arthur jr., Stanley, Lawrence, Royden, Adelbert, and George; One sister Hazel (Velven) Morton; Nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The body is at Sweeny's Funeral Home, of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., at Ritchie Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. G.E. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Cemetery, Yarmouth.
