Soloist Julie Lindsay was accompanied by Jane Nolte, organist. Casket bearers were R. Wayne Anderson, Ronald Ambrnson, Vance Ambroson, Wayne Ambroson, Allen Holland and Ronald Holland. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery in Leland with the Petersen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ambroson, 85, died Dec. 11, 1991, at her home in Leland. Alma M. Ambroson, the daughter of Albert and Maria Hanson Holland, was born Aug.6, 1906, in Lake Benton, Minn. When she was a child, her parents moved to the Leland area
where she received her education in the Leland school and Forest City. Mr. Ambroson died Dec. 3, 1961. Mrs.Ambroson moved to her present home in Leland in 1964. She was employed at the Federated Store in Forest City, Greatwestem Products in Forest City and the Leland Grocery Store.
She was a long-time member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Leland and enjoyed her garden and handwork.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Ambroson of Leland, her grand children, their spouses and children, Jim and Melanie Ambroson, Jamie and Christopher of Leland and Janet and Dehnis Haugen, Justin and Michael of Forest City. Also surviving are three brothers: Leonard and Henry Holland both of Leland and Raymond Holland of Humboldt; and a sister, Mrs. Grace
Anderson of Forest City.
