Miss Clara Koethe, 73, of Santa Ana, Calif., formerly of Kieler, Wis., died unexpectedly Wednesday at Santa Ana. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Haudenshield funeral home in Cuba Ciy, Wis. to the Immaculate Conception church at Kieler at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was born Sept. 28, 1877 in Kieler, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Koethe. Miss Koethe was a registered nurse for 54 years. She was a member of the Catholic church. Surviving are a brother in law John T. Splinter, of Cuba City; and three nephews, Archibald Splinter, of Milwaukee Wis., Arnold J. Splinter, of Cuba City and Lawrence Splinter, of Hazel Green, Wis. She was preceded by a sister, Mrs. John T. Splinter and a brother, Lawrence Koethe.
