Mr. Alexander was born Nov. 9, 1954, in Surry County to Charles Roby Alexander and Annie McMillian Deborde.
He was employed by North Point Home Equity and was a member of Elkin First Baptist Church and the Elkin Jaycees.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Roby Alexander.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Alexander of the home; his mother, Annie Deborde of Elkin; and a brother, Jeff Alexander, also of Elkin.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Elkin First Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Bill Johnson. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Wilkes County Humane Society, 215 Hollygreen Drive, Miller's Creek, NC 28651, or an organization of the donor's choice.
