Geraldine (Dean) Abbott, age 93, a former resident of Bessemer, Alabama, & Walker County, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017. She was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene for over 75 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Frelon Abbott, & daughter in law, Margie Abbott. She was a loving Christian woman, devoted wife, & loving mother, grandmother, & great grandmother. She is survived by her sons: Frelon, Truman, Garry, & Rick Abbott, her brother, Malcolm Ensor, & sister, Joan Hudgins. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, & 6 great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Hoover , with visitation from 12-2.
