"Red" Alloaway , age 84, of Springville, Alabama, passed away at a local hospital on March 19th, 2017. "Red" was an electrical engineer who started working with Western Electric, became a supervisor, and still was working at Bell South and was retired from the telephone company after 41 years. He was a loyal employee, and was well thought of for being a good boss, and being fair to everyone he worked with. He is survived by his loving wife, Sara Alloway, 2 daughters: Lynda Shelton (Tim Caldwell), and Susan Margavio (Steve), 3 grandsons, Steve Margavio, Jr., (Cassandra), Clay Shelton, and Matthew Margavio, 1 great granddaughter, Brooklyn. He was predeceased by his parents: Earl & Goldie Alloway who are also buried in this cemetery. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 22nd at 1pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, Pastor Richard Kennedy officiating. He will be missed by many. My husband worked with him for over 30 years.
