Mrs. Bob. B. Berenger, of Gilson, Ill., formerly of Rock Island, died Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in St. Mary's Hospital, Galesburg, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at Klinck Chapel, Knoxville, tomorrow at 1 p.m. The Rev. Glen L. Anderson, Knoxville, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline
Mrs. Berenger, the former Marion Sittler, was born in Moline Feb. 15, 1915, the daughter of William G. and Minnie Johnson Sittler. She was married to Bob Berenger March 9, 1946, in Rock Island, and they moved to Gilson in 1952.
Survivors include two sons, William H. Fakas, Rock Island, and Robert Berenger, Gilson; two grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Scherer, Moline, and Mrs. Bertha Burgess, Rock Island. Three sisters and her parents preceded her in death.
