Mrs. Elizabeth S. Boyersmith, 77, of 827 Water St., died Wednesday evening, Feb. 16, 1972, at City Hospital after a short illness. She had been hospitalized for one week.
Mrs. Boyersmith, who had resided in Meadville most of her life, was the widow of Albert Boyersmith who died May 10, 1934. Mrs. Boyersmith was born in Meadville on May 13, 1894, a daughter of Edward J. and Minnie Ducray. She was a member of St. Agatha's Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Kimple, with whom she made her home; two sons, Alton A. Boyersmith and Clovis A. Stein, both of Meadville; three stepchildren in Michigan; 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Burlingame.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Byham-McBride Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Agatha's Roman Catholic Church with the pastor, Rev. Fr. Walter Lohse, officiating. Interment will be at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Pettis.
