Mrs. Berg was born in Linden, Kan. (now part of Kansas City) on April 12, 1871. She was married to John B. Berg, on June 6, 1904 in Ft. Collins, Colorado. John had shoe repair stores in Ft. Collins, Co., Spokane, Wash. and Billings, Montana. He died in Billings, Montana on June 7, 1920. At that time, she and her son Ernest went to Long Beach, California and then returned to Ft. Collins. She was a cook for a short time after coming back to Ft. Collins. She had lived in Longmont, Colorado before she married John.
She is survived by a son, Ernest of Fort Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John and her daughter Anna. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Belmer-Collins mortuary with the Rev. R. A. McClure, of the Assembly of God Church, in charge. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
