Mrs. Bruce D. Cauvel
Dies at Meadville

Mrs. Emma Jane Cauvel, wife of Bruce D. [Derr] Cauvel, died at her home, 993 South Market street, Meadville, at 5:25 a.m. Sunday [30 November 1941]. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reed, for many years residents of the Dempseytown community and was born in Natchez, Miss., July 16, 1858. She was married to Mr. Cauvel on January 3, 1896, and for many years they lived near Dempseytown. For the past 20 years the family home has been in Meadville. Besides the husband, she leaves one daughter Mrs. [Fireda Willard] Ellsworth Stewart, Jr., of Cherrytree.

The deceased was a member of the Meadville Wesleyan Methodist church. The body will be at the Arnold funeral home, where friends may call and where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Mark Ell of the Meadville Wesleyan Methodist church will officiate and interment will be in the Cherrytree cemetery.
