Mrs. Vicie Childress, of Memphis, will be buried in West Memphis today. Services for Mrs. Childress of 1767 Watson Street will be held at 11:30 this morning at Cosmopolitan Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crittenden Memorial Park in West Memphis. Mrs. Childress, 72, died at 3:40 yesterday morning at John Gaston Hospital after having been ill for about 2 years and hospitalized there since Nov. 16. Born in Owensboro, KY, she lived in Crittenden County, AR for many years before moving to Memphis about 5 years ago. She was a Baptist. She leaves 2 sons, Luther W. Daniels of Memphis and Raymond E. Daniels of West Memphis, a brother, Steve Groves of Florida and 2 half brothers, Harry and Theodore Robinson of Evansville, IN; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
