Mr. Jimmy Gay Fossett, 79, of Scottsboro passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Fossett is survived by his wife, Annie Fossett of Scottsboro, AL; sons, Labron Fossett of Scottsboro, Jason (Chanda) Fossett of Scottsboro; daughters, Melissa (Wayne) Waldrop of Section, Faye Fossett of Scottsboro; grandchildren, Chante (Rafe) Starkey of Pisgah, Paxton Fossett of Scottsboro, Camden Fossett of Scottsboro, Brenda Fossett of Scottsboro, Andy Waldrop of Section, Ella Fossett of Scottsboro, Anna Fossett of Scottsboro; step-grandson, Brian Waldrop of Shiloh; great grandchildren, Colter, Bronson, Ellia; two step-great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Marlene (Joey) Gilliam of Scottsboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wonnie and Vera Fossett.
