Lucille was born November 17, 1919 in Webster, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edward and Magdeline Lhotka. She was raised and educated in Webster and graduated from Black Brook High School. While in high school she worked as a teacher's aide.
Lucille married Ernest Henry Albers on June 28, 1939 at Webster, Wisconsin. They lived and farmed in St. Mary's Township, Ward County, ND, for many years. Ernest died on May 15, 1970. Lucille continued to live on the farm.
Lucille was a former member of First Presbyterian Church, Minot, and over the years had been active in many homemakers groups.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest H. Albers, and her parents.
