Mrs. Sid Bell, 75, died Saturday, July 4, at 3:30 a.am. in an Amarillo hospital, where she had been a patient 5 days.

Mrs. Bell had lived in Collingsworth County since she was 8 years old, coming with her parents, the late Brice and Annie Sherrell Tow, the former Laura Mae. She was born April 16, 1906, in Clayton, OK.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and worked at the first nursing home when it was opened under the ownership of Willie Smith.

She married Homer Duckworth here October 30, 1921. He died March 3, 1958. She then married Mr. Bell in October 1968, at Memphis.

Survivors are her husband, Sid Bell; four daughters, Mrs. Vergie Prickett of Cisco, Mrs. Lorene Adkins of Tulare, CA, Mrs. Jo Seale of Vega and Mrs. Betty Seale of Wellington; one son, Delmer Duckworth of Burleson; one sister, Mrs. Ople White of Quail; two brothers, Willie Tow and L.P. (Dry) Tow, both of Wellington; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
