WELLINGTON - James Paul "Buddy" Boen, 53, of Fort Worth, formerly of Wellington, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Primitive Baptist Church with Don Watson of Canyon, elder, officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home.
Mr. Boen was born in Mission. He graduated from Quail High School in 1962. He moved from Lubbock to Fort Worth in 1965. He was self-employed as an air conditioner service worker and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, James Paul Boen Jr. of Panhandle; two daughters, Brenda Woods of Austin and Rita Boen of Fort Worth; his mother, Pauline Boen of Wellington; three sisters, Juanita Langley of Quail, Rita Owens of Wellington and Jo Nixon of Midwest City, Okla.; and five grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Primitive Baptist Church or the Wellington Cemetery Association.
