Died:17 May 1990 Danville,In.
He was the son of:
Thomas and Mary Lay-Collins,from Corbin Ky.
Aaron was the brother to:
Thomas Jr.( my dad)), Matt, William: aka Bill, Jack, Roy, Albert(he is the one that murdered my dad-Thomas Jr), James, Pansy, Polly, Maggie.
When Aaron and his family came to Indiana from the hills of Ky. They rented the "OLD MILL School House" a little south west of Danville,Back in the late 40's very early 50's. They lived in the old school for afew years.
As a child I remember going there to visit all the time.
Uncle Aaron told his family he wanted to be buried there by the old school, and not with the rest of the family in the Danville South Cemetery. he is buried real close to the house. He loved it out in the country growing up. That is why he is out there buried.
Plus across the road his brother Jim lived with his family on a farm for a few years. Uncle Aaron spent alot of time out there with them. Things have changed so much, the cemetery use to be small. and not many houses around.
Uncle Aaron was married to Ruth Ann ? for some years. They never had any children. I always loved her.
Uncle to 27 of us
and 1 step niece, (sherry, Roy's STEP daughter no blood)
Uncle Aaron was my favorite uncle on dads side of the family. He was always there when I needed him, and I was there for him.
Uncle Aaron Like my dad Thomas Collins Jr, had a ruff hard life growing up in Corbin, and having the so called mom they had,,,Well their pain is gone now.. Only happiness for them xoxo
I miss him and and will always love him no matter what.
