Diane was born January 2, 1948 to Leon and Shirley Von Almen in Ogden.
She graduated from Clearfield High School. Diane married Barry Peterson on September 12, 1966 in Ely, Nevada. Diane loved to play the piano and travel around the country. She was a cancer survivor. A member of the LDS Church, she served as a Relief Society President, as sister friendly in Primary and several years in Young Women.
She is survived by her husband, a son Douglas (Venessa), three grandchildren; Zoe, Tegan and Adric and her brother Danny (Debbie) Von Almen.
