Danny Cramer was born on October 30, 1949 in Taft. Ca. and passed away at his home on April 29, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Cramer was a 1967 TUHS graduate and a 1969 Taft College graduate. In 1970 he was drafted into the United States Army where he served one tour in Vietnam earning medals for National Defense Service, Vietnam service, Vietnam campaign w/60 device, two ouverseas service bars, ecpert and marksman bars.

In 1971 Danny married his high school sweetheart, Pamela, and after being discharged from the Army. they mode there home in Taft. Danny then worked for over 30 years in the oil field industry for companies such as Sierra Production, Pride and Key. In 2001 he retired to spend more time with his family. He loved summer camping trips to Mt.Able with his family most. Every summer the Cramers took over the same camp site, so he made a wooden plaque for it declaring it "Cramers Corner" for the entire summer. He also enjoyed restoring old cars and making them unique and his own. even through he never managed to keep one long. He was a wonderful husband, dad, Pappy, son and brother and will be greatly missed.

Danny is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Pamela Cox-Cramer, his parents, Lenard and Vanita Cramer. He is survived and missed by his children, son Jeff Cramer, daughter and her spouse, Andrea and Billy Messenger, his granddaughters, Jesse Jane Cramer, Danica, Karrigan and Berlynn Messenger, Sisters, Janice Denny and Fiance, Jim Holmes, Karyn and Russ Mason. Brother and spouse Bryan and Mary Cramer, Many nieces, nephews,aunts and cousins.

Per Danny's request, there will be no viewing funeral or memorial service. The family would like to thank Optimal Hospice for their care and in his last days. and a special thank you to Kitty Shinn for being there above and beyond the call of Juty. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Optimal Hospice or the Americian Cancer Society in Dan's name.
